http://www.tatame.com/2009/04/14/Jacare-vs-Miller-title-fight-possible-at-Dream-9Meyhem Miller to fight Jacare for the DREAM MW title. Mousasi is moving to LHW so DREAM need a new MW champ. kinda sucks that the Zelg vs Nakahara fight didn't happen because the winner would have probably gotten a title shot. I say Jacare by sub.

Thats pretty interesting. Why is Mousasi moving to LHW? I know Mayham is getting more popular here because of his MTV show Bully Beatdown. I guess he made a bit of a name for himself in Japon too with his beating of Shibata. I agree that Jacare wins. I hear Kid Yamamoto might be fighting on that card. He got in trouble for weed.. is everything ok now? Plus I hear Mirko is trying for this card. He says his training is going really good and he feels great and is aiming for May 25. Theres a interview with him here: http://www.mmacube.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=266:mirko-qcro-copq-filipovi-maybe-on-dream-9-card&catid=34:mma&Itemid=102

I was at the weigh in and apparently Mousasi spent 3 days in the sauna before the GP finals. He's only 24 and it's getting tougher for him to cut. It's good for Dream because you need a 205 division to be a contending organization. The Cro Cop thing is interesting because Igor Pokrajac (Cro Cop team) is fighting the polish guy that handed Maro Perak his first loss at WFC ( World freefight challenge which is an org based out of Ljubljana slovenia and is a good show. Maro Perak beat Rodney Feruvas at a WFC show) Anyway, Overeem is going as a guest and Cro Cop is going as a cornerman. Kid is in the second round of the GP.I dont mind that.People are bitching that he gets a bye but he was the Hero's champ so he should get one. He's been out for a bit and it was really bad timing considering this is his first fight for DREAM. He was supposed to fight on one of Uriah Fabers guys a while back but the injury kept him out. Dream is glad to have him back bigtime. There's talk about the weed thing but nothing proven. http://www.wfc.si/

Makes sense about Mousasi if he stuggled so much. I was confused because he looked like a star during the GP, I though it was weird he wouldn't defend the title

Zelg told me that Mousasi came to Japan 90kg, meaning he had to cut 6kg which is just under 15lbs. How did he have the energy to win the tourney after cutting so much weight I'll never know

Ya that is amazing. These young guys are unreal at cutting. Older you get the much harder it is to do.
So many examples of this. I saw GSP in real life and there was nothing 170lbs about him. For the BJ fight I heard he was 187lbs at fight time.. about 20 heavier than BJ during the fight

When Overeem fought Arona he couldn't make 205. When he was fighting at LHW he was walking around at 225.If I'm not mistaking Mousasi fought Musashi on NYE in the K1 fight Mousasi was heavier.I think thats why Cro Cop would never cut to 205. Making weight must be a pain in the ass.
